How do I know that if I died today that I would go straight to heaven?
Because God says so.In the Bible in the Gospel of John 3:16 it says,"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son,that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Back to Top

I haven't led a "Godly life". How can I be saved?
Without a personal relationship with Jesus we are all sinners and headed for eternal seperation from God. Romans 5:8 says "But God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Back to Top

Can I ever lose my salvation if I am saved? No, never. 1Peter1:4-5 states,"To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you. Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time".
But my religion does not believe in "salvation". Besides, I go to church every week and say my rosary and do other religious acts in order to please God. Isn't that good enough? .

Regardless of whatever religious work we may do we cannot be saved through works. The bible says that, "For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Eph. 2:8 & 9. God is not interested in religion. He is only interested in a personal relationship. Here is what the bible says about religion. "If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain. Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world".James 1: 26 & 27 Remember salvation is a gift of God through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. I am a good person already. Doesn't God take that into account when I die?
Romans 3:10 says, "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one".

The bible was written by men, not God. Why should I follow it so closely?
2Timothy3:16-17 states, "ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof,for correction, for instruction in righteousness:That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works". Back to Top

What if I am embarassed to talk to my friends and family about the decision I just made?
That's OK. Don't forget when you are saved you now have the Holy Spirit to help you. As you study and meditate on God's word the Holy Spirit will help you with your words. Just ask Him! Back to Top

How do I become "saved or Born again"?
First you admit you are a sinner to God. Romans 3:23 states...For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

Next you take God up on His promise. Romans 10:9-10 states...That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousnes; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
